Our "Meet and Greet" event on September 7th was an opportunity for parents to discover or rediscover our educational project. During this friendly morning, parents and teachers were able to discuss their children's progress, share their expectations, and better understand our Montessori approach, enriched by the IB Primary Years Program.
Class visits allowed families to immerse themselves in our learning spaces. The educators presented the activities and daily routines that foster children's autonomy and curiosity. A warm and welcoming atmosphere immediately enveloped the visitors, reflecting the spirit that animates La Chrysalide.
Welcome to the new families joining our community!
On September 19th, we threw open the doors of La Chrysalide for an exclusive Q&A afternoon. Our goal? To give parents the opportunity to dive deep into our school and better understand how we support their children on a daily basis.
Various information stands were set up to address all their questions, covering school life, the infirmary, extracurricular activities, and nutrition. At the school life stand, parents could experience the fast-paced rhythm of our classrooms and ask questions about the daily organization, activities offered, and evaluation methods.
Our nurse addressed all questions regarding children's health and safety, reassuring parents about the measures in place to ensure their well-being.
Extracurricular activities were also in the spotlight. The passionate and pedagogical providers presented their workshops with enthusiasm: musical awakening, robotics, arts and crafts… a rich and varied selection, tailored to all ages and interests!
A highlight of the afternoon was the workshop led by Dr. Mariama Elouahli, a State Engineer in industry and food safety, micronutritionist, and consultant in nutrition and food sciences. The nutritionist enlightened parents on the importance of balanced nutrition for children and presented the carefully designed school lunch menu, crafted to meet their needs. A tasting session allowed parents to experience the flavors served to children each day.
These events laid the foundation for a school year full of discoveries and exchanges. We are convinced that this close collaboration between the school and families will enable each child to thrive and reach their full potential. Together, let’s build a promising future for our learners.
